Wellbeing and Self
Having worked in policing for over 40 years, I bring a wealth of understanding to this area. My professional focus on the subject is from the perspective of personality – often overlooked!
Available as a product for individual and/or individuals in teams. I provide access to a host of specially selected personality instruments which offer great insight into the impact of stress, change and lack of sleep on an individual’s personality and subsequent behaviour.
Managing Change and Self
The police service is constantly changing and never more so than at present. How we manage ourselves during these periods of change is immensely important, particularly as a leader.
I offer workshops for both individuals and teams with the aim of raising levels of understanding on the impact of change on self.

Whilst a key source of learning for leaders in policing is that of their colleagues, there remains a great source of learning from working with leaders from across both public and private sectors.

I offer facilitated Action Learning Sets for stakeholder groups. These provide a confidential and cost-effective means of problem solving, decision making, networking and, learning for all! They also provide useful insight into the shared issues faced by leaders.
Leadership and Resilience
Leaders in policing require a good level of resilience as a key component of their emotional intelligence.
I offer a range of personality tools and instruments, together with access to a Leadership 360 instrument in order to raise self-awareness in this area. Findings are explored within a coaching conversation in order to generate coping techniques and discuss next steps.
Coaching and Leadership
Many policing organisations are currently developing a coaching style of leadership. Its many benefits include, enhanced levels of motivation and an increase in self-confidence.
I provide bespoke design and delivery of coaching/mentoring workshops for leaders. These sessions equip officers and staff to have meaningful coaching conversations in the workplace.
